The Ski Racing Sisterhood would like to extend a warm welcome to Canmore native, Kelly McBroom to the 2016 coaching staff. For anyone who doesn’t know Kelly… well, you really should. She is a firecracker of energy that brings life and laughter to every situation she enters. Kelly raced on the Canadian National Ski Team for four seasons from 2007-2011, where she competed in Nor-Am, Europa Cup and World Cup events as well as representing Canada at three World Junior Championships.

Following two intense leg injuries, Kelly chose to switch paths and head to Bozeman, Montana on a full NCAA scholarship. There she continued to race at a high level while pursuing a degree in Business Marketing from which she has recently graduated. Along with being part of three NCAA championship teams, Kelly is the proud founder of Big Dump Plungers. Big Dumps Plungers are amazing novelty plungers made from used sports equipment where a portion of her profits goes directly towards supporting sanitation initiatives. Take the plunge HERE! When she is not saving the world, one bowl at a time, you can find her out playing in the mountains or in the ocean. She has an adventurous soul and fuels her passion for the outdoors by skiing, mountain biking, windsurfing, fat biking, hiking or backpacking.

We couldn’t be more stoked about having Kelly along for the summer ride. Her passion for skiing and all things humorous will be a great asset to the Ski Sisterhood Squad. Welcome KELLY!
