What a perfect day to welcome back Ski Sisterhood to whistler after two years! Perfect conditions greeted this years campers along with a new way to access the glacier. All the girls were pumped to get back on snow, many for the first time ever in the summer. Having Erin and Stef join the sisterhood staff was wonderful and fit in perfectly to the sisterhood vibe. It was great to meet campers from BC to New Brunswick to Washington and in between. Being together sure felt good after the last couple challenging years!
freeski drills followed by a couple of brushie and stubby drill courses. The downloading of the chairs to head back to the valley was a hit with many of the campers.
For afternoon dry land the girls ran/walked to Lost Lake where Anna led a wonderful flow yoga in the park. This was followed by a tech talk on all the aspects of a slalom turn. A quick swim out to the dock was colder than we wanted but fun none the less. Shona definitely pushed her swimming skills to the max!
Whistler really showed her good side today and we hope this continues through the rest of the camp!
